A nine day tour will see our Sharks Under 14 Boys have the amazing opportunity to face off against 5 schools, who are as equally excited to host us as we are to meet them.
A mix of training together, friendly and formal matches, and presentation dinners with the hosts will give our junior Sharks a real taste of rugby on tour.In addition, the boys will gain awareness from invaluable experiences as they visit environmental and cultural places important to Zimbabwe such as animal orphanages, national parks and prominent landmarks including Victoria Falls.
The Head Coach for Sharks Under 14 boys, Greg Andrews, is originally from Zimbabwe and excited to get the tour off the ground. ‘Our boys are already working hard every week in preparation for this tour’ says Greg, ‘and it will be amazing for them to test their skills in a rugby mad country and get a taste for international touring whilst wearing the UAE flag with pride on their shirts.’Who knows, maybe one day they'll play as adults with their home country's flag on their sleeve.
